Dodo Pizza Kyrgyzstan: 10 Years of Growth and Open Kitchens

Celebrating 10 Years of Dodo Pizza Kyrgyzstan
Dodo Pizza Kyrgyzstan turns 10. The first pizzeria opened in Bishkek in 2015 — and what started as a conversation between friends has grown into a network of 13 locations, including the Kids Pizza Academy.

The idea was born long before the first opening. Karabek and his school friend Ruslan had talked about opening their own pizzeria since they were teenagers — no formal business plan, just a shared idea and the desire to build something. Eventually, Esen Jumanov came across the Dodo Pizza franchise. After months of conversations over Skype, the three decided to bring the brand to Kyrgyzstan.
The first pizzeria in Bishkek came with a clear principle from day one: an open kitchen, where every guest could see their pizza being made.
“The process wasn’t simple,” Esen recalls. “Finding the right location, the first test runs, training the team, the nerves before launch — and a huge belief that it would work. Nobody knew what this project would grow into. But there was one thing we understood: do it honestly, do it well, do it openly.”
Over the past decade, the Kyrgyzstan team has set revenue records more than once. The anniversary video reflects how personal this journey has become for the local team. You can watch it here.
Dodo Pizza Kyrgyzstan is celebrating its 10th anniversary in a big way, and we are happy to join the celebration. Congratulations to the whole team on this milestone — and here’s to many more openings, new records, loyal guests, and bold plans ahead.
